Description:Voltaren Emulgel Extra Strength Gel is formulated to provide relief for acute, localized, minor muscle or joint injuries and contains diclofenac diethylamine, which is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. This gel has a mild scent that disappears as the gel penetrates the skin and can be applied every 12 hours.

Indications:For relief of aches and pain associated with acute, localized minor muscle or joint injuries such as sprains, strains, or sports injuries (e.g. ankle sprain, shoulder strain, back muscle pain, etc.)

Dosage for Adults Aged 18 to 65 Years:

• Apply 2 grams twice a day (morning and evening) on the painful area using the dosing card supplied. Do not use more than 4 grams per day.
• Voltaren Emulgel Extra Strength can be used for up to 7 days for muscle/joint injuries. See a doctor if symptoms get worse or do not improve within 7 days.

Voltaren Emulgel Dosage

The recommended dosing ranges from 2.2 to 8.8 mg per kg of body weight in adults and children aged 3 to 11 years. The dosage may be increased to a maximum of 10 mg per kg of body weight in adults and children aged 5 to 13 years. It is advised to use Voltaren Emulgel at the same time each day, even if symptoms improve before the treatment is finished.

For continuous treatment, the recommended dosing is typically maintained for a maximum of 3 months to prevent the risk of unwanted side effects.Maximum Recommended Dosing Frequency:The maximum daily dose should not exceed one dose per day.

Voltaren Gel for the relief of arthritis pain in adults and children 12 years of age and older. Voltaren Gel provides targeted relief of pain and inflammation associated with arthritis. Voltaren Gel is used to relieve pain, swelling, and stiffness in a variety of areas of the body, including:

• head, neck, and back pain
• dental and gum disorders
• muscular disorders (back, neck, and shoulder pain)
